Forgot Access Password
Access passwords are stored only locally, cannot be changed, cannot be recovered, and must be remembered. We recommend setting a password you commonly use to avoid forgetting it.
If you forget your password, please DO NOT log out, delete the application, or modify note content
If you have other devices that can still access your notes normally, please strictly follow these steps (remember not to click sync during this process)
- Make sure you have a device where the content displays normally, without any [Decryption Failed] notifications
- On the device that cannot decrypt properly, click [User] in the upper left corner -> [Log out and clear notes]
- On the device that works normally, go to the [Membership and Cloud Sync] page, click the [Change Password button] to set a new password
- With cloud sync enabled, click on and modify each note one by one to ensure that this device's content will overwrite the cloud content
- Log in on the device where you forgot the password, enter the new password, enable cloud sync, and the correct content should display
If you don't have any devices that can display note content normally
- Keep trying different passwords, return to check your notes, if the notes can be parsed normally without [Decryption Failed] notifications, it means you've found the correct password
- Most people use a limited number of passwords, so you'll need to try multiple possibilities...
