Bidirectional Links
I. Bidirectional Links Introduction
What are Bidirectional Links:
- When you link to another note in one note, both notes can find each other through this relationship. By simulating the brain's memory pattern to record the relationships between notes, it facilitates recording and searching.
Lionote Bidirectional Links Features:
- In addition to supporting conventional linking and being linked relationships, it also supports parent, child, and sibling relationships
- Links can also be inserted in mind maps and flowcharts
II. How to Insert Bidirectional Links:
Method 1: When typing text, enter: [[ + space to bring up the link insertion menu
Method 2: Directly copy the note link, then paste it into the note body (or use the hyperlink insertion panel)
III. How to View Bidirectional Links:
- Click [Related Notes] in the upper right corner to open the relationship panel
- Click on the small circle representing a note to jump to the related note
IV. How to Use Bidirectional Links in Flowcharts and Mind Maps:
- Links inserted in mind maps and flowcharts are also recorded in related notes
- Click the [Add Link] icon in the flowchart
- Search and copy the note link you want to insert in the left search bar
- Ctrl+click or click the [Jump to Link] button to navigate
